In addition to traditional Our Lady of Lourdes School fundraisers,
the Home & School Association conducts various fundraising events throughout the school year. Many events and activities our students benefit from are provided by the Home & School Association. Examples of these events and fundraisers are listed below.
Our Lady of Lourdes Gala Dinner Auction – A fabulous evening including dinner, live music with live and silent auctions. This is the largest and most succesful fundraiser of the year for the school.
Trunk or Treat- A fun-filled evening providing a safe environment for our children to trick or treat with friends.
Barnes & Noble Night- The students perform to encourage family and guests to visit Barnes & Noble as a portion of all purchases for the specified date are donated to Our Lady of Lourdes School.
Santa's Secret Shop- The students are able to purchase Christmas gifts for their family members.
Christmas Tree Sales- All student parents are required to attend a shift during the Christmas tree sales. This seems to be the most enjoyed volunteer opportunity for parents as it offers a great bonding experience during the holiday season!
Rummage Sale- Unwanted furniture, clothes, small appliances, and just about anything are donated for the rummage sale and the school benefits from the profits. The rummage sale is held in January.
Box Tops for Education - Look for the Box Tops for Education symbol when you shop! Collection of the “tops” vary throughout the year, generally once in the fall and again in the spring. For each top we collect, the H&S receives $0.10!
Golf Tournament- The golf tournament is held during the Spring.
Recyling- The students are taught the importance of taking care of the environment and ways in which to preserve it. Several recycling opportunities are available within the school.
Cruise Drawing- Our Lady of Lourdes has an annual raffle and the 1st prize is a cruise. The second and third place prizes are a monetary value.
